About Us

BLT Tanks LLC is a family-owned business located near Kingfisher, Oklahoma, about 45 minutes northwest of Oklahoma City. But we didn’t start as a business. Propane tank refurbishing actually began as a hobby for our owner, Brad Ragains.

Initially, Brad had one tank to sell, and he sold that tank to the first interested buyer. Afterwards, calls kept rolling in from people wanting to purchase that same tank. So, he bought more, and started selling them one at a time, each time fine-tuning and improving the quality. Rebuilding propane tanks turned into a bigger and bigger hobby, and soon, Brad had 40 employees.

BLT Tanks has served Oklahoma, surrounding states and nationwide locations since 1994, and in 2004, we took our business international with our first shipment of tanks to Africa.

At BLT Tanks our customers are our family, and that is as true today as it has always been.
